Call for Nominations: 2014 IEEE Student Awards

Nominees are sought to recognize contributions by student members

IEEE’s Student Awards Program recognizes the contributions of student members to the successful operation of their branches. All nominations for the following awards must be submitted through the IEEE Student Awards website. The deadline is 1 February.

IEEE Student Enterprise Award

For student members seeking financial help to implement an idea for a project of a technical or nontechnical nature from research on cutting-edge technology humanitarian, and community service programs.

Larry K. Wilson Regional Student Activities Award

For recognition of a student member from each region of IEEE who is most responsible for an extraordinary accomplishment associated with student activities—including an event, program, or product—and showing dedication and ongoing service to a student branch or chapter.

Darrel Chong Student Activity Award

For student members who have improved the quality of activities in their student branch to foster knowledge sharing among students, ultimately increasing student membership growth.

Regional Exemplary Student Branch Award

For recognition of student members from each region of IEEE who have led exemplary operations of their student branch.

Outstanding Branch Counselor and Branch Chapter Advisor Award

For recognition of student branch counselors and advisors who exemplify IEEE’s commitment to the education and personal, professional, and technical development of students in their fields of interest; the 10 most outstanding receive cash awards.
