Call for Nominations: 2014 Women in Engineering Awards

Nominate outstanding WIE members, groups, or student branches

The IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) awards and recognition program recognizes those who are fulfilling the WIE mission of inspiring, engaging, and advancing women in technology. Nominations for the following awards must be submitted by 1 April.

IEEE Women in Engineering Inspiring Member of the Year Award

Recognizes WIE members who have made an outstanding contribution to WIE, the local community, and the engineering community through involvement in projects or activities directed toward fulfilling one or more of WIE’s goals and objectives.

IEEE Women in Engineering Inspiring Student Member of the Year Award

Recognizes undergraduate or graduate student members of WIE who have overcome barriers to pursuing engineering and/or who have made a personal impact in their community through their dedication and involvement in projects or activities directed toward fulfilling one or more of WIE’s goals and objectives.

IEEE Women in Engineering Affinity Group of the Year Award

Recognizes a WIE affinity group that has shown outstanding leadership and initiative in organizing activities. The award is based on programs that took place during the calendar year 2013.

IEEE Women in Engineering Student Branch Affinity Group of the Year Award

Recognizes a WIE student affinity group that has shown outstanding leadership and initiative in organizing activities. The award is based on programs held from 1 July 2013 to 1 April 2014.

All nominations must be submitted through the WIE awards portal.
