Nominate a Colleague for IEEE Fellow

Applications are due by 1 March

15 January 2014

Each year, the IEEE Board of Directors confers the membership grade of Fellow upon a select group of IEEE members who have made important contributions to the advancement of engineering, science, and technology that have also had significant impact on society. Do you know someone whose work has met these requirements?

If you have a colleague who has made an outstanding contribution to the electronic or electrical engineering profession and is an IEEE senior member or life senior member with five years in any grade of IEEE membership, you may nominate him or her in one of four categories: application engineer/practitioner, educator, research engineer/scientist, or technical leader.

To learn more about the IEEE Fellow program and the online application process, visit the Fellow website. The nomination deadline is 1 March 2014.

And read The Institute’s article about the 50th anniversary of the Fellow program.

IEEE membership offers a wide range of benefits and opportunities for those who share a common interest in technology. If you are not already a member, consider joining IEEE and becoming part of a worldwide network of more than 400,000 students and professionals.
