Each year, the IEEE Board of Directors confers the membership grade of Fellow upon IEEE members who have made important contributions to the advancement of engineering, science, and technology that have also had a significant impact on society. Do you know someone whose work has met these requirements?
If you have a colleague who has made an outstanding contribution to the electronic or electrical engineering profession and is an IEEE senior member or life senior member with five years or more in any grade of IEEE membership, you may nominate him or her in one of four categories: application engineer/practitioner, educator, research engineer/scientist, or technical leader.
To learn more about the IEEE Fellow program and the online application process, visit the Fellow website. The nomination deadline is 1 March 2015.
And read the series of articles highlighting the careers of various Fellows that The Institute published last year to mark the program’s 50th anniversary.
