Proposed Amendment to the IEEE Constitution Withdrawn

The IEEE Board of Directors took action at its June meeting

25 June 2015

At its meeting on 21 and 22 June 2015, the IEEE Board of Directors voted to withdraw from the 2015 annual election ballot the constitutional amendment it had approved earlier. Members were notified in March of the revisions suggested in the form of an amendment for their consideration as a part of the 2015 annual election ballot.

The 2015 annual election ballot materials, without the constitutional amendment, will be sent to the eligible voting members in August as planned.
