Consumers were obsessed with broadcast radio when it was introduced in the 1920s. All sorts of items were created to celebrate the new technology. Many were recently on display at the IEEE Operation Center, in Piscataway, N.J., as part of the “Radio Days, Radio Craze” collection, courtesy of Jerry and Marsha Simkin, co-founders of the New Jersey Antique Radio club.
