Society Recognitions

The following people were recently honored by IEEE groups or societies.

Senior Member Robert Zeidman received the IEEE Santa Clara Valley (Calif.) Section’s award for Outstanding Engineer in a Specific Field “for his innovative contributions in the specialized field of forensic software analysis.” He was recognized for developing the SynthOS program (which synthesizes operating systems) and the CodeSuite program (which detects intellectual property theft of software).

Zeidman is president of Software Analysis and Forensic Engineering, in Cupertino, Calif. He is also founder and president of two other companies in Cupertino: Zeidman Consulting, a contract R&D firm pursuing digital hardware and software design, and Zeidman Technologies, a developer of hardware and software codesign tools for embedded system development.

He is a member of the IEEE Computer Society.
