Know Your IEEE Fellows

Online directory lists all 7000-plus

26 December 2013

New to the IEEE Fellow website is the redesigned Fellow Directory. It is the most comprehensive online search and networking tool of Fellows available to IEEE members. Each year, the IEEE Board of Directors confers the membership grade of Fellow upon a select group of IEEE members to honor extraordinary records of accomplishment in the IEEE fields of interest. More than 7000 members now bear the title.

The directory is organized into six categories: alphabetically, year elevated, gender, IEEE region, IEEE society, and deceased. Within these categories, members can search, sort, or run a filter. For example, a report can be compiled on all Fellows within a specific region who were elevated in a particular year. The directory allows members to view the profiles of Fellows and network with them.

The directory works on mobile devices and tablets, as well as computers. To access it, go to the Fellows website and click the Fellow Directory icon.

IEEE membership offers a wide range of benefits and opportunities for those who share a common interest in technology. If you are not already a member, consider joining IEEE and becoming part of a worldwide network of more than 400,000 students and professionals.
