For the past decade, the IEEEXtreme 24-hour coding contest has brought together IEEE student members from around the world to solve programming challenges they might be confronted with in the real world. When it launched in 2006, the competition had 150 participants. It has since grown to more than 6,000. Last year participants came from 76 countries, making up 2,477 teams.
To commemorate the competition’s 10th anniversary, The Institute is showcasing photos submitted by contestants over the years. To sign up for this year’s contest, scheduled for 22 October, visit the IEEEXtreme website.
